I have taken a wide variety of clinical positions to develop my holistic knowledge base and clinical background to ensure each child receives the best available assessment and treatment. My clinical experience includes:

 Peterborough Child Development Unit for the assessment and treatment of children under 5 years (Pre-school and nursery settings), working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing early intervention services for children and families with neurodevelopmental disorders, physical disabilities and global developmental delay.

 Assessment and Treatment of School age Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders:

o Developmental Co-ordination Disorder and Dyspraxia

o Autistic Spectrum disorder

o Sensory Processing disorders

o Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder (ADD / ADHD)

 Assessment and Treatment of Children with Autistic Spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour within Specialist Independent schools and special Schools.

• Specialist assessment and treatment planning for medico-legal cases, including children with acquired brain injuries, physical disabilities.

 Assessment of children to support an application for an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP), formerly a statement of special educational needs.

• Providing Occupational Therapy to pupils within schools to meet their Statutory Statement of Special educational Needs, working directly with educational authorities

 Consultation and training courses for parents, schools, organisations (including National Autism Society) and health professionals.

 Assessment, Advice and treatment for Children with multiple and profound Physical and Learning Disabilities; including provision of equipment, and advice on manual handling.

• Providing direct therapy to children within their home.
